The noise in the tower was like being in an aircraft hanger with an engine roaring away.From a historical point of view Charles Laughton had it easy in the tower when complaining about the bells in the movie, while hunched over in a quasi quasimodo pose in the Bells of Nortra Dame! Post affects of the Old Light were ringing ears DaveO, Vertigo and sickness from Beth, Ester banged his head, Pam was almost home with a clean run. That was until Pam stepped out-side the building and was promtly blown across the lawn, heading towards the wall that divides up the property.
