Great birds to both watch and photograph, they are such master of the rough seas. When you first went to North Scotland they would have been a rare bird in North Devon. Now we can see them On Lundy and on the cliffs around here. Flat wings( no W as in sea gulls). and the tube nose are very distinctive.
Was Bohannon the 70’s guy Hamilton Frederick Bohannon. and band with the amazing album covers, and the long names of equally long album tracks? I almost missed this reference, while I was extolling the virtues of fulmars. Dave!
