in the shed

as Leslie Phillips said.

I’m waiting for a delivery and am too scared to go out in case they come and don’t leave my parcel AGAIN. So, I’ve decided to start a blog, not just to fill in the time, but it’s something I’ve been meaning to do for ages but haven’t got round to….

Which probably means that I won’t be one of those ‘post every day’ bloggers but maybe that’s a good thing, or not. Anyway, instead of a “this is all about me” first post, work it out for yourself – this is a list of all the jobs I’ve had:

Paper boy, petrol forecourt attendant, apprentice engineer, football referee, service engineer (Harrier jump-jets), ice cream vendor, waiter, surfboard fin maker, windsurfer maker, surfboard glasser and sander, apple picker, coach to the English and British surf teams, car body worker, electricians’ mate, labourer, surf photographer, surf journalist, ASP surf judge, artists assistant, gardener, wedding photographer, book publisher and carpenters’ mate.
