Another weekend and another apocalyptic storm, as I write the Sevenstones Lightship has just tweeted from 18 miles off Lands End: “It’s Feb 8, 2014 @ 5pm ; Wind = W (270°) 45.1 knots; Swell = 30.5 ft @ 12 seconds….” Here’s a few pix from North Devon today of those 30 foot waves and 45 knot winds.
