September shines on the sunroof

How prophetic the photo of a misty beach sunset was of September in last years ‘Beautiful North Devon Calendar’, it’s been a lovely little Indian summer and gratefully embraced after what has been, generally, a miserable summer.

Time to get the camping gear out of the back of the shed,

And journey up onto the roof of the North Devon coast: Exmoor National Park.

More specifically, Westermill Farm, near Exford.

In the heart of Exmoor this working farm is the ideal spot to camp for photographers,

And normal people too.

But especially photographers..

Landscape

Farmlife

Wildlife

Big boys

On the move

In the Exe valley

And of course there’s the sunsets

with big skies

clean air.

and typical Exmoor vistas.
