An impromptu fishing trip with the boys was an excuse to shoot some portraits with ‘the plastic one’ as the Holga lens is now known and I am quite liking the 1950’s feel to the shots, (probably coz it’s when most of the subject matter was born!). Attached to the 1D mk2 this time giving a focal length of approx. 78mm on the 1.3 crop sensor and using manual mode with the luxury of post processing the RAW image, I’m finding I get quite a high percentage of keepers.
