One photo every week in Autumn. Starting today at the Autumn equinox. It is often unclear when one season ends an another begins. This assignment will map the map the transition from the most fabulous summer in recent memory to deepest winter, here in North Devon. Undoubtedly there will be photos of mists, moss and melancholy but hopefully the mission will throw up some alternative views of the fall into winter. To start the project, I walked up to an old standing stone in Mortehoe to watch the equinox setting sun which coincidentally splits Lundy in half as it sets (travelling from behind Morte point in mid-summer to behind Baggy Point in mid-winter).
