Exmoor, wet wet wet all winter, then the rain slowed and allowed a few excursions onto the higher moor to bog jump with tussock assist. Spring Moor Photo dump (which is apparently is an acceptable phrase to describe random pix lumped together without context).

To start, some Blackthorn; the herald of Spring

And the surf kept on coming, a classic winter for North Devon surfboard riders; Combesgate mate.

Then, finally dry enough to a walk out to scout a picnic spot ..

Underneath milky skies

Where the locals die in black and white

Early April is now the start of the dry season and a happy stomp-out for Kathleen’s birthday.

Happy that the rain has stopped but worried that it didn’t get that cold and that the reservoirs are still not full (aiso that ‘Water Companies’ are still pumping raw sewage into our rivers and oceans).
